Private Release

Album Review - Places I have been

Welcome to my secret place; my world of tunes and melodies.  For me, writing an album like this, is a tonic to the soul, it is what I was born to do and will never stop doing.  I am releasing the album privately on 25th February and then the official release date is not until the 1st September.

The time I have spent, on this album, I have enjoyed immensely.  I have brought together a collection of strong ballads and songs from my experiences while pushing my musical ability.

I feel privileged to be able to do this, as well as being able to work with truly talented and experienced people, such as Richard Westall, who program and engineered and helped me compose, Jon Jacobs, who mixed and helped produced, Streaky who mastered the album, and a host of musicians such as Paul Beavis (drums) and Simon Johnston (guitarist), who shared their talent and gave me their time.

‘Places I have been’ is an album for many an occasion, it’s an album that is uplifting, as well as thought provoking. It’s an album with depths and layers, adding new textures every time it’s listened to.  I hope many people enjoy listening, as much as I enjoyed creating.

And, although, this is not a traveller’s diary, I hope you will travel with me, to the places I have been!
